FY 2008 Fringe Benefit Rates*

The Fringe Benefit Rates for Fiscal Year 2008 (7/1/07-6/30/08) have now been approved by DHHS.
20.3% Federal Benefits Eligible
22.6% Non-federal Benefits Eligible (2.3% for dependent tuition remission)
7.8% Benefits Ineligible
The new date for the F & A rate agreement is 3/15/07 (replacing the previous agreement dated 2/17/06). This is the date that should appear on NIH applications. [And just a reminder, only the fringe benefit rate has changed--not the F & A rate.]
The new F & A cost rate agreement and the FY 2008 fringe rate breakdown will be posted on the URA website as soon as possible.
*Please note these are not the rates the University proposed, and are therefore different than the rates publicized in our January email.
