TRACS Codes
In creating TRACS as a successor to Grants we have tried to minimize the number of places where obscure codes appear on screen. Although we haven't always been able to do this, we hope that we will be able to improve TRACS in the coming months. In the meantime, here are some of the codes that you may come across in using TRACS.
Departments
When you see departments described in TRACS, they may be listed by their abbreviation rather than their full name. If you need to find the full name for a department given its abbreviation, you should be able to find it here. There is also a list of divisions here.
Agencies
Agencies are usually listed in TRACS by their abbreviation. A list of abbreviations is available here. Agencies are collected into codes (these can be used in the search screens), and groups. The groups are just those that URA uses in its year-end reports:
