Animal Resource Center

The Animal Resource Center (ARC) supports the use of animals in teaching and research at The University of Chicago. It is the mission of the ARC to provide and promote high quality humane animal care and use which allows productive research and teaching. The ARC is dedicated to providing for the proper care and use of animals, including the avoidance or minimization of discomfort, distress and pain, when consistent with sound scientific practices.
