AURA

The new electronic research administrative system being developed by URA and NSIT to facilitate the pre-award research administration activities on campus. AURA is an acronym for automating university research administration. More Information »

AURA Reporting

The AURA-Grants reporting environment is available to authorized AURA users with the reporting role. AURA-Grants Reporting will provide authorized divisional, departmental and central administrative staff with secure access to data from the AURA-Grants application through the Business Objects WebIntelligence query tool.

The AURA-Grants data warehouse is refreshed nightly with data from the AURA-Grants module, University Research Administration’s electronic research administrative system. AURA-Grants reporting enables users to refresh pre-built reporting packages that allow them to enter specific date ranges and principal investigator names or funding proposal IDs (for example) to answer common business questions about grants and contracts.

In addition to the nightly refresh from AURA-Grants, the data warehouse also contains historical data converted from TRACS, University Research Administration's prior system, for proposals dating back to July 2001.

While most users have view-only access to refresh reports, users with interactive access can easily customize reports. Later in 2011 analyst users will be trained in creating new queries from scratch to answer tailored questions or conduct longitudinal analysis against historic data.

Any time a new announcement is added to the feed, an email notification will be sent out. To sign up for the email RSS feed, click on the icon next to Announcements and Events on the home page.
