101. About the Guidelines
The goal of these guidelines is to assist faculty and administrators preparing and submitting proposals for sponsored project funding and managing sponsored funds awarded to the University. The guidelines have three closely related objectives: (1) to present and explain in organized and coherent fashion existing policies and procedures affecting sponsored funding at the University of Chicago; (2) to describe services that are available to faculty and administrators through University Research Administration and other offices involved in sponsored project management; and (3) to serve as a reference and a source for further information and assistance.
