216. Hazardous Material Management
On February 28, 2002, Steven Beaudoin, Director, Safety and Environmental Affairs and Office of Radiation Safety, revised the University’s waste chemical disposal policy. The policy was revised to ensure all hazardous waste is managed in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. Please refer to the University’s Safety Manual, Section 6.2: Hazardous Materials Management and the Radiation Protection Manual, Section 6: Radioactive Waste Management. All laboratory personnel and department administrators should be familiar with this policy. – September 2003
