222. Federalwide Assurance of Compliance with DHHS Regulations for Protection of Human Research Subjects
The Federalwide Assurance (FWA) is the document that signifies that the University and the University of Chicago Hospitals are in compliance with the Federal requirements for the protection of human subjects. The new Assurance became effective on August 1, 2006. The approval period is for three years. Therefore, it will expire August 30, 2009. The new Federalwide Assurance Number is FWA 00005565.
